      Intelligent Machine Hackathon

Beat the Machine - Shape the Future of Production Processes

Automation doesn’t stop at the production of tires either. If terms like industry 4.0, digitalization, artificial intelligence and networked systems make you listen up and process optimization sounds interesting, then this hackathon is right up your alley. Develop innovative ideas to enable cross-system analyses of big data and derive possible optimizations from them.

      When: 19.03. - 21.03.2020

Where: Gebläsehalle, Ilseder Hütte 14, 31241 Ilsede (near Hannover)

      Who: 20 participants - 4 teams - 1 winner

For your arrival and departure costs, we will refund you up to 100€ at the end of the event. In addition, we will of course take care of your meals and accommodation during the event.

Unfortunately the application period for #Fiction2Science Hanover is over. You want to be part of the next event or be informed about new dates? Then use our pre-registration form.

      Your task.

"Big machines" also mean "big data" – this brings a lot of complexity to our production processes. During production, a lot of data from the areas of hardware, image processing and machine operation (HMI) is recorded. But these are initially unfiltered and only loosely linked to each other.

Use the collected data to develop ideas on how these can be intelligently linked in order to derive useful information from them. With the support of our experts, you will work as part of a team on concepts for the predictive maintenance of our production machines. This can include solutions such as an intelligent representation of selected processes or an intelligent system for optimizing machine downtimes. Get to know the process and control of a real machine and gain valuable experience in dealing with big data.

      Your skills.

The following skills are what you need:

      • Knowledge in programming languages such as .NET, Python, Java, C/C++, SQL Script, Java Script, Typescript, PHP, R, MATLAB, Go
      • Knowledge of data management e.g. MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL / Maria DB, MongoDB, Influx DB, XML, JSON or others
      • Enthusiasm for innovation, machine learning, AI, big data, team spirit and of course the future of mobility.
      Your equipment.

Big Machines and lots of big data are waiting for you. All you need to bring along is your own laptop and you're ready to go.
