Legal information and terms of use of “Jobs@Continental”

During the application process, Continental AG and its companies will process your data in accordance with the legal requirements.

      1. General
Any personal data, including all attachments (hereinafter referred to as "data") that you enter will be processed and used by Continental AG and all of its nationally and internationally affiliated companies to examine and decide upon your application, as well as for internal and, if required by the laws of the country for which you make your application, external reporting. In the event that your application is successful, data already entered may be processed and used for the purposes of implementing the employment relationship. Your data will be collected, processed, and used based solely on your consent and in compliance with applicable data protection regulations.

To ensure technical support, we will transfer data to our service provider Kenexa, a company of the IBM Group (Kenexa Global Services Limited, International Financial Services Centre, 25/28 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, Ireland; Kenexa Technologies Private Limited, Plot No. 1, Hill No. 3, APIIC IT & ITES SEZ, Rushikonda, Madhurvada, Visakhapatnam 530045 Andhra Pradesh, India; Kenexa Technology Inc, 650 East Swedesford Road, Second Floor, Wayne, Pennsylvania 19087).

Your data will be treated as strictly confidential, to the extent required by applicable law.

      2. Data Collection and Processing, Right of Objection
Certain types of personal data (e.g. information on racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical convictions, union membership, health or sexual orientation) will not be intentionally collected, unless such information must be sought and/or collected according to the laws of the country in which you make your application.  You may exclude the name of any organization that would indicate your race, color, religion, creed, age, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, or citizenship.

You may view your data at any time using the application. Further, except as otherwise set forth below, you are also entitled at any time to have any personal data blocked or deleted, to object to the processing of your data, or to have inaccurate data corrected. (Note: where country-specific statutory retention periods apply or where the applicant or Continental continues to require the data and application documents in order to defend against or respond to any actual or reasonably anticipated investigations, demands, claims or actions asserted, the data/documents will be blocked against deletion for a country-specific period, so that they cannot be deleted). If you do not arrange for your data to be deleted, it will continue to be stored after the application process has been completed in accordance with legal regulations, so as to make further career opportunities at Continental available to you. This period applies to all of your applications. If, in future, new legal requirements require a change to the retention period, this period will be modified without prior notification. If you do not delete your general data (candidate profile) at an earlier date, it will continue to be stored until the end date specified by applicable law. The retention period starts over with each registration.

      3. Disclaimer
All other liability on the part of Continental is excluded, except in the case of compelling legal liability such as willful misconduct, gross negligence, mortal injury, bodily harm, or damage to health.

By clicking the "Accept all" button, you explicitly consent to this. Consent can be revoked at any time by changing the cookie settings. The further processing of data already collected before revocation by the third-party provider cannot be excluded.
