Time Models

At Continental, options such as part-time and flexi-time hours create a structure that helps our employees balance work and private life. In the case of part-time hours, contractual working hours are reduced and salary is adjusted accordingly. Part-time work can be agreed for a limited period of time.  With flexi-time, the times at which employees start and end their working day are managed flexibly. This may mean that employees have to be in the office during defined core hours, but can then arrange the rest of their working hours independently. Employees can take advantage of either model as long as it is compatible with operational considerations.
