The eXplore Tire Supply Chain Management Graduate Program at a Glance

Are you passionate about supply chain management, logistics, digitalization, and automation?

Our 18-month Graduate Program offers you a wealth of practical experience. You will assume operational responsibility for dedicated tasks throughout the entire process chain. Take responsibility for our planning process, e.g., as a Demand FC Planner when planning future sales and customer orders for thousands of different items, or as a Supply Chain Planner when planning the production and distribution of a specific item range at one of our tire plants. Join our distribution team and manage the shipping process of containers and trucks leaving our plants to customers all over the world. Or join us in making tactical decisions about future procurement strategies. As part of the program, you will gain insights into the process sequence of our supply chain from all possible angles. Upon completion of the program, you will have the right tools and network to take on a responsible supply chain or logistics role at your home location, with many more career opportunities within our global team.

Seize this opportunity and take the first big step towards a successful career in Supply Chain Management at Continental.

      What Can You Expect?

The program lasts up to 18 months and is split into several assignments.

      Home Location

You will spend the first few months at your home location to gain initial practical experience and get to know all key SCM processes at your home location. The focus is on our processes, systems, and the corresponding flows of goods and data. At the same time, you will build up your personal network in a collaborative environment.

      Factory and Market Locations

You will spend several months at some of our global plants and market locations. The focus here is on gaining additional perspectives and familiarizing yourself with the day-to-day operational and strategic challenges. Plants and markets may have conflicting goals in the execution of the process chain. Having already gotten to know different locations, you can identify areas for improvement and support our ongoing drive for optimization.

      Central Placement

Last but not least, you will become part of our central SCM team in Hanover, Germany, and gain an insight into the strategic level. Here, you will also meet your colleagues and benefit from a wide range of training programs and events.

In all phases, you will, as part of the Supply Chain team, work on challenging projects and tasks in the operational business and take part in various training programs. This combination of projects, training, and international experience will give you outstanding skills and prepare you optimally for your career at Continental.

After the final phase of the graduate program, you will continue your career at your home location and contribute your experience to its commercial success.
