Start at Continental: 2010 as an Automotive Trainee

Bruno originally joined Continental as a trainee and now works as System Requirement Manager in the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) business unit. The unit develops products and systems that enable assisted and automated driving, such as radars, cameras, laser scanners and control units. Bruno is enthusiastic about working on the mobility of the future. "It's great motivation when I see a vehicle on the road knowing I contributed to what’s in it," he says.

Bruno appreciates Continental’s diversity. Since joining the company, he has already worked in various positions and if he decides to do something new again after a few years, there are numerous opportunities within the company to broaden his horizons.

Together with his colleagues, Bruno works on almost all components that will later be integrated into a car. His job as System Requirements Manager is to analyze the exact customer requirements and define what a product needs to be able to do. He then passes these requirements on to the developers. Bruno's greatest motivation is to solve large and small problems. "At the end of the day, I want to have the feeling that I have solved problems and, thus, improved the quality of a product,” he says.
