      Scientific Study on Continental in the Nazi Era

      On Thursday, August 27, 2020, from 9 to 10 a.m. (CEST), we have hold a virtual press conference to present an independent scientific study on Continental’s involvement with the German National Socialist regime. 

      The historian and author of the study, Prof. Paul Erker, has evaluateed the study from a scientific perspective. 

      Continental’s CEO Dr. Elmar Degenhart has discussed the relevance of the historical results for us today and for the company in the future. 

      Dr. Ariane Reinhart, Continental’s CHRO, has explained the lessons we have learned from the study for the development of our company’s culture. 

      The company’s archivist, Dr. Nils Fehlhaber, has provided insights into how the company’s archive has been revived and what role it will play in the future.

      During a half-hour question-and-answer session, journalists were also be able to ask questions by phone or chat.
