Projects such as UERÊ by founder Yvonne Bezerra de Mello exist to change this for as many children as possible. In her school, she offers socially excluded children and young people from the favelas of Rio de Janeiro a place of freedom to act and a space to develop their own ideas. Since 1993, Yvonne Bezerra de Mello has been fighting to give her students a real chance of a self-determined future. Cibelle is one of these students. The girl has been a pupil of UERÊ since 2013, and her biggest dream is to become a fashion designer.
