Continental is revolutionizing display presentation in vehicles. The technology company is expanding its 3D display portfolio with the world premiere of a display with a curved surface. This technology displays with a special depth effect – images levitate up to ten centimeters in front of the display. The new 3D display requires no special glasses or head-tracking camera. A new type of fiber optic module achieves a very natural 3D effect through particularly precise diffraction of the light. All occupants can see the 3D display from their respective seats. The display is particularly contemporary: Innovative concepts for intuitive interaction between the driver and the vehicle are needed to intelligently communicate more data and information in the vehicle.
