Following the increasing demand of OEMs for novel types of user experience, Continental has developed new display interfaces based on 3D technologies. In comparison to existing solutions, our natural 3D experience is designed for a specific head motion box to avoid a head tracking system.

3D Lightfield is created by a special backlight
Designed to cover a head motion box of typical 26cm without head tracker
- Switch to 2D full resolution mode possible
Suitable for optical bonding and seamless integration with very low reflection
Continental is partnering with company Leia to develop the Lightfield display technology and provide new use cases and content to help customers creating value for end users
